With the adoption of SAP, there was a need to establish an EDI environment that integrates data exchange between overseas subsidiaries and global automotive OEMs. An automotive standard EDI system was implemented to handle VDA labels, orders, and ASN data, centered around local plants, and designed to connect in real time with ERP and WMS systems. This enabled automation of the entire supply chain workflow, including order intake, delivery planning, shipment instructions, ASN transmission, and invoice processing.
